How Long You Should Bake Chicken | Recipe for Baked Chicken

I almost never crave sweet things. Salty and Spicy is usually my down fall when it comes to eating unhealthy things. But lately, I've been trying to cut down on the chips and salsa (& queso. & guac) and eat more protein-filled snacks & meals. Thats where my recipe for oven baked chicken comes in.

Its fast, its easy, I can fix them and when they're done I can toss them in a container and throw them in the fridge to be eaten later in the week. My other favorite thing about chicken? It's not expensive!

I like to mix mine with broccoli (frozen. also not expensive!) and a tablespoon of yellow curry or some other kind of sauce, but its also great plain or on top of a salad!

How to Bake Chicken-Little Bleu Studio

1. Preheat oven to 450º

2. Place chicken in a dish

I like to line my bakeware with aluminum foil to make for an easier clean up!

4. Cover chicken in Oil

Personally, I use EVOO, but I know some people don't, I think its whichever you like best or feel most comfortable with.

3. Add Spices

I dont really have a hard and fast recipe for this part, but today when i was making my chicken for the week, I tried to keep track of what I used so I could list it here~

1 tsp. salt                          1/2 tbsp. garlic powder

1/2 tbsp black pepper     1/2 tbsp. Cavender's Greek Seasoning

1/2 tbsp paprika              1/2 tbsp. cayenne pepper

1 tbsp. lemon juice

Basically, use small amounts of your favorite spices, whatever they may be. Rosemary, salt, and cayenne pepper are next on my list!

4. Place in Oven for 15-20 min

5. After removing from oven, carefully place foil on top of dish, let chicken sit for 10 minutes.

6. Serve immediately, or put in a storage container and save for later in the week!

7. I enjoy this chicken by itself, with veggies, or on top of a salad! It might also be good with pasta!
