June Coffee Chat

WOW! I can't believe I haven't posted in almost a month! I have missed this little corner of the internet! 

I started my new job officially in mid-May, and then once I ran out of pre-written blog posts I just haven't had the energy to be back! I'm working as an ER scribe at some of our local hospitals, and it has been such an incredible experience! I work with some of the most brilliant people. BRILLIANT. While I've been at work I've met some of the kindest, most sincere people, and it has strengthened my love of my little community here in Alabama. But I'm also working 50-60 hours a week at the hospital, and 4-8 hours a week at Pier 1, so that's meant cut backs on my time for blogging. 

Another exciting development this month was that one of my oldest & dearest friends moved in with me! It's been so nice having a friendly face at home when I've had a hard day at the hospital, and we have so much fun! 

Since yesterday was father's day, here are a few of my favorite pictures with the best man I know!

Favorite Restaurant in Tuscaloosa - Southern Ale House

The last few weeks – when I've had an off day – my friend and I have been trying out a bunch of different restaurants, but SAH is one of my favorites! The house salad is SO GOOD.
