Dresser Reveal /// Plucky Peacock Finds!

While I was home a few weeks ago, I found this really pretty dresser at The Plucky Peacock! I knew that its narrow width would make it perfect for my small guest room, and that with a few coats of paint it could fit with the French Country style I was wanting.

Step 1 was taking all the drawers out so that I could paint the main part of the dresser with Junk Gypsy's Buttermilk Biscuit chalk paint. (Paint was from the Plucky Peacock!)

Then I painted the drawers with this chalky green color (Also from the Plucky Peacock!)

Some of the paint got into the holes for the drawer pulls, so I got out my drill  :-)  and fixed the holes!

At this point, I was really happy with how the green and the white looked together, but I felt like something was missing and I didn't like the large white door to the desk part.

I had some stencils left over from another project, and decided that the little three pointed leaf on these corner scrolls would pair nicely  with the three-pointed leaf on the drawer pull, so I added them on! I think at some point I may get a different knob for the door, but for now I'm really happy with how it all turned out!!
