Hi everyone! Today I'm posting a round up of six of my favorite online home inspiration sources! In a few weeks, I'll be posting a roundup of my favorite home/DIY bloggers, so stay tuned!

1. Pinterest

Pinterest is probably one of the best places to go when you start looking at ideas for how to re-do a room, or to get inspiration on how you want to repaint a piece of furniture! I have boards for each room in my house, as well as a board for color schemes that I like!

Are we following each other on there? Find me at: Pinterest

2. One Kings Lane

One Kings Lane is a website that sells furniture, rugs, etc. but they have the option to "Shop by Style" or" Shop by Room," sometimes I like to go look at how the rooms are styled, which is a really helpful way to set up a room that looks styled and photo ready! The website can also be a helpful way to decide on what color to use when you're redoing a piece of furniture by seeing what the current trends in home design are at the moment!

3. Southern Living

Since I will always be a Southern girl at heart, even if I don't have the accent, Southern Living is one of my favorite sources for home decorating inspiration! I like to look at what is featured in their magazines or on their website, and then plan ways to rework those accents into a DIY or other kind of project for my home!

4.  HGTV

HGTV is kind of a two-fold source. I love having HGTV on the television while I'm working as well as when I'm winding down for the night. Watching the fixing/flipping type shows is one of my favorite ways to pick up tips and tricks for projects I want to try in my home and which kinds of projects would "up" the resale value in the future!

Online, HGTV has a section of their site dedicated to a photo library where you can browse photos by room, style, and color!

5. The Everygirl

Every once in a while, Everygirl posts home tours. I really enjoy both the photos included in the tour, and the interview with the homeowner! Its fun to see how other creatives built their brands/businesses!

6. Apartment Therapy

Apartment Therapy is a GREAT website for home project ideas. They feature a section specifically dedicated to "DIY" home projects and renovations! One of my favorite current articles is "Spend a Little to Make More: Inexepensive Curb Appeal Upgrades to Improve Home Value."

Do you have a "go to" website for ideas for your home?

See you Friday for a special Memorial Day post!
