I was born in Tuscaloosa, and I've been back in the druid city since 2010. As much as everyone knows about football, there's actually a ton of other wonderful things to do in Tuscaloosa! Here are a few of my favorite spots around town!

Courtyard, Marriot

Embassy Suites, Downtown

Hotel Indigo

Hotel Capstone, ON CAMPUS

Food & Drinks

River - a riverside bistro with delicious views and stunning views of the black warrior river.

Rama Jama's - located right next to the stadium this place is a ttown staple.

Buffalo Phil's - Come of the best wings in town, and it's located right on The Strip!

Surin - If you're in town for a weekend, be sure to stop in to Surin for midnight sushi (Thu-Sat 10:00pm – 1:00am)!

Glorybound - So this is one of my favorite Tuscaloosa lunch, brunch, or dinner spots. They recently moved locations and are set to reopen July 18, 2018!

Loosa Brews - My favorite bar, awesome selection of beers, it's a super calm atmosphere.

photo spots

If you come to Tuscaloosa, you should definitely stop in at these places to do come sight-seeing!

Bryant-Denny Stadium - Obviously, if you're in town on a fall weekend, you should see a game if we're playing at home. But even outside of football season(not on a game day) the walk of champions in front of the stadium is a Tuscaloosa MUST SEE.

Denny Chimes - Located on the Quad, Denny Chimes is probably one of the most photographed/recognizeable spots on campus.

BEst Margs in ttown

Don Toño's - my favorite place! I love their margs, and the staff is so nice!

Taco Mama - I looooove their Mi Casa margarita! The staff is SO nice and the food is great and it's one of my favorite spots. Here's a link to their menu :-)
