Where I Went In One Day in Nashville, Tennessee

Hi everyone! For the last few weeks I've been planning a quick trip up to Nashville to visit the Nashville Flea Market at the Fairgrounds! And the day finally came to go! I had so much fun talking with the vendors and found some really cool items that I can't wait to show soon on here & on Instagram soon!

The Fairgrounds

We left Huntsville really early (between 6:30 and 7:00) so that we could get to the fairgrounds before they got too warm. There are a couple inside buildings, but I was really interested in the sheds around back, so we planned not to spend too much time inside. That being said, if you ever visit, be sure to check out the inside booths because there are some really nice, finished pieces in there! The sheds had some amazing objects, and there really does seem to be something for everyone there! I was really really tempted to buy an old pastoral landscape, but I was afraid my arms wouldn't appreciate carrying it around all day (it was at one of the first booths we passed!)

I think this was Shed 2 or Shed 3. Not entirely sure!

Nashvinyls

The Flea Market

I actually purchased one of these awesome clocks to take home with me! I'm not sure where its going to go yet.. but they were so, so cool and I couldn't say no. I've been on a vinyl kick lately and a reclaimed record wall clock from Nashvinyl seemed like the perfect addition! Note: they are made with vinyls that have scratches or that are warped so much that they aren't listenable! so no worries! It's a way to give them a second life! You can order them online, so be sure to check them out!

Like I said at the beginning, there are booths for everyone at the flea market! This booth had some really cool things, but I their sign really made them stand out!

Lunch & Coffee

After we had looked at every vendor at the fair at least once, we were dying for some lunch! So we headed down to the Gulch to see if anywhere there didn't have a line, and also I wanted to scope out a few places for my next trip, and Y'ALL. That area is SO COOL! We had lunch at The Pub, but I definitely want to go back and visit Biscuit Love, just maybe earlier in the day when the line isn't so insane!

I also have a list of Nashville coffee shops that I want to try, and this trip, I decided to check out CREMA! It's in the SoBro (South of Broadway) neighbourhood of the music city, so it was about a 10 minute drive from lunch in the Gulch, but it has a water view and it close to the bridge and didn't feel out of the way at all! Also the coffee was delicious (and beautiful!) - the macarons were amazing as well! Yep. Macarons.

I've talked about the music city before (Last fall I wrote my Nashville City Guide!) and it really is one of my favorite places!! I love how the city offers fun activities for everyone! It isn't all cowboy boots and honkytonks (although we love those too!) I love the art scene and watching all the new restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques pop up! I'm already planning a list for my next trip up, so be sure to stay tuned!
