Five of My Favorite Packing Tip Posts!

Travel Day!  We left early this morning to begin a whole day of airports and airplanes that will end around midnight! I didn't want to leave you guys without a post though, so here is a QUICK round up of a few blog posts that I found most helpful while i was trying to pack enough clothes(both nice and outdoorsy, for both warm and cold weather) for ten days in my little suitcase! Definitely a tough project – my little closet organizer that I posted about a few months back (see it here) was so helpful during the initial planning of what to pack, as well as when it came time to narrow what I wanted to actually take.

So here are FIVE of the most helpful posts on packing, I hope they help you too if you’re traveling soon!

1.    Snail Pace Creations | How to Maximize Your Carry On Luggage

This post is really helpful if you are traveling and trying to fit everything into a carry-on bag! She even includes snacks!

2.    A Pair & A Spare | How to Pack: The 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Guide:

Geneva discusses how she was able to create a wardrobe for 10 days all in a carry-on suitcase! Her formula is going to be my go-to for all future trips ya’ll.

3.    Nicola Mussin | How to Pack a Carry-on

This post is kind of a similar topic to the first one, but she includes a really neat infographic! Since i'm a visual learner, i really liked that this post includes photos of what she's talking about :-)

4.    Gurl.com | 15 Tips on How to Pack for A Vacation Like A Pro.

Really helpful “Should I Pack It” infographic! This article also has tips on how to store jewelry, how to organize the clothes in the suitcase, AND deciding what clothes to bring!

5.    The Berry | Packing Is Not An Easy Task

This page compiles A LOT of different graphics on how to make packing easier, and includes style/wardrobe tips for different places you might be traveling!

Here are the steps I used to get 5 pairs of pants, 2 sweaters, 12 shirts, and 5 pairs of shoes into my little suitcase! I'll also have a pair of ponte pants in my carry-on, plus the jeans I'm wearing on the flight, so I should be set for the entire trip! I'll be posting pictures soon!

I'm going to update Instagram WAY more often than I update the blog next week, so be sure to check there (click here for a link!) for pictures as well!

What are some of your traveling tricks? Let me know in the comments!
